Providers of all levels, prepare to get dirty! Join our staff as we review airway anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. We will take a deep dive into the psychology of airway management, meaning yes, a hard look at yourselves as airway clinicians, and the tips, tricks, and tools we have at our disposal to predict and mitigate any airway challenge thrown at you. Items covered during this course will also include:

-Tracheostomy disasters

- RSI/DSI

- S.A.L.A.D.

- Easy airway maneuvers to mitigate distres

- OG/NG placement

- Digital, nasotracheal, and other less-common methods

- Surgical and needle cric emergencies

- much, much more!

Please arrive wearing either scrubs, work uniform, or something else you do not mind getting dirty in. Gowns will be provided, but expect to be hand's-on for a majority of this course. EMT and AEMT level providers will have the same opportunity to practice skills, but are reminded that this course does NOT allow for non-paramedic personnel to utilize these skills in the field.
